CROSSFIT

YES! I am Crossfitter and I’m obsessed!!!! If you do not belong to the crossfit community then you will never know the feeling and I legitimately feel bad for you.  However, all I can say is that it is not to late to start!!!   A lot of people ask me: What is Crossfit?  For my simplest response I show them the attached video, then I proceed to show them the photos of me prior to my addiction to fitness.  Usually by that point there jaw is on the floor and they are asking me where to sign up!

I can sum it up like this Crossfit is a sport where the last person to finish is the most cheered,  where it doesn’t matter if you have been doing it for 2 weeks or 2 years; everyone is treated equal and above all it is a community of people who share the same desires, goals and ideas towards fitness as yourself.  Unlike “globo gyms” you will not be judged, you will make new best  friends, you will work harder, you will finish every workout (whether you think you can or you can’t the “community will not let you quit) and most importantly you will be better today then you were yesterday!!!

Personally I am so addicted to fitness I typically workout twice a day: once in the morning around 6am and then again when I am done w/ work around 7 or 8pm.  Usually its crossfit in the morning and Bikram Yoga in the evening, however there are several days in which I hit the Crossfit Box (that’s what we in the Crossfit world refer to as our “gym”) twice a day.  I have recently passed my Training Certification Course and now am certified to Coach crossfit classes.  When I am not crossfitting I am doing other activities that all revolve around fitness and the outdoors some of my favorite fitness related  things to do are run w/ Bella (my 10 year old rescue pit), soul cycle (Google it), hiking in the woods, rock climbing, taking long walks w/ my pup and the list goes on.  Yes my life revolves around fitness now and no I don’t mind when people make fun of me for my addiction, cause it was only a little over a year ago where my addictions were fast food, cigarettes, soda, beer, ice cream and everything else that is poison for your body!!  Man O’ manischewitz has my life changed!!
