Strength:
6 minutes to find a 1 rep max back squat
rest 30 seconds and do max reps @ 70% of the 1rep max
rest 1 min + 30 sec. followed by another set to failure.
W.O.D.-
5 Rounds For Time:
30 Sumo Deadlift High Pull (75/35)
15 Overhead Squats
I hit 275lbs on the 1 rep max squat; 16 @ 195lb to failure; 12 @ 195lb to failure
For the WOD (workout of the day) I did it RX (as prescribed) in 12:37. I felt good through this workout but would have liked to get it in under 12 minutes. Following this I had a solid 20 minute love affair w. the foam roller, I suggest you do the same as this one is a killer on the back and legs!!!

Quinoa, Feta & Turkey Stuffed Peppers
6 MarWho doesn’t love a nice stuffed pepper surprise hidden in the Sunday sauce? Well that’s exactly what I slipped into this Sundays pot when I was cooking up my meals for the week. The recipe is slightly complex as there are a lot of separate ingredients that need to come together in order for this succulent green stuffed surprise to really make you moan!
Bulletproof Coffee
5 MarPrior to six months ago, I had only sipped on coffee once. The taste was bitter, and I’d heard all about the negative health consequences that came along with drinking coffee. Coffee supposedly stunted children’s growth, was addicting, and increased the likelihood of contracting several diseases. David Asprey of BulletproofExec.com inspired me to give the black drink another chance, and I am so glad that I did.
Garlic & Lemon Roasted Broccoli

Rule #1: Buy the freshest produce I can get my hands on
Rule #2: Keep it simple
There is nothing simpler then squeezing some fresh lemon over some fresh broccoli and roasting in the oven until the tips get nice and chard. One of my favorite ways to prepare these and most other veggies for that matter.
